Asana gets even more powerful when you use it to collaborate with classmates. By adding classmates as members of a project, you can effortlessly share notes and plan your group projects. Asana will become your shared home for ideas, files, and tasks related to your team’s assignments.
Collaborate with classmates
- Invite classmates to join your Workspace, team, or project in Asana. Once they sign up, you can share work with them and start collaborating on task and projects. Invite them by clicking the + button in the top bar of Asana.
- Create a project for any group assignments you have, or invite them as follower to a specific task to work on with you.
- Once your classmates have joined you, you can start assigning tasks to them. That way, everybody has clarity on who’s doing what by when. Make sure to give the task a due date, add any relevant files, and add a task description to give more context and information.
- Use task comments to ask each other questions, give feedback, and provide more information while keeping it all in context with your assignments.
You can also use project conversations for more general questions or comments about the work. No emails or extra meetings necessary!
Asana was built for team collaboration, so as you add more classmates, projects, and coursework, you’ll see even better results.
